Dedar Dimodong - Mud
This supple matka silk is hand-spun and woven on artisan looms in India. The fabric features a unique frame-printed pattern with a chalk-like effect. The irregular pattern is reminiscent of body paintings of distant peoples and exudes an artistic, almost ritualistic atmosphere.
The natural color tones range from kaolin white to goldstone and earthy pigments, inspired by artist Piero Manzoni's minimalist Achromes. The heavy, rich fall of this 100% silk makes the fabric perfect for luxurious curtains that add warmth, depth and texture to any room.
